We help make the dream of homeownership a reality for borrowers and ensure a seamless experience for our broker partners.
Inside The Program
Within this 12-month rotational program, you’ll gain a comprehensive understanding of key teams such as Underwriting, Sales, Operations, Technology and Client Experience. These immersive rotations are designed to foster deep learning while giving you a cross-functional experience and leadership exposure. After completing the program, you’ll be placed on a permanent team tailored to your strengths and your potential to make an impact.
“From the opportunity to be mentored by executive leadership and program alumni, to rotating through 20+ lanes of business, the network participants are able to create for themselves in such a short amount of time is incredible” says Nick D., program graduate and now Team Leader.
While 5 years of experience is recommended, UWM prioritizes leadership potential, strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset. No prior mortgage industry experience is required.

Day-To-Day Insights
Starr L., a team member who joined the UWM Rotational Program in 2025, shares, “The most valuable learning came from hands-on projects tied to specific business processes. They gave me practical insight and helped me understand how each area contributes to the bigger picture. I had to become comfortable with discomfort,” she explains. “That mindset helped me grow and sharpen my communication, emotional intelligence and leadership skills.”
Throughout the program, participants are supported by a dedicated mentor, build a strong peer network and form meaningful connections across the company. Mentors provide guidance and feedback, while the peer network fosters collaboration and idea exchange among participants.
Success Stories

Taylor M., Class of 2023, and now a Marketing Business Specialist, shares, “The greatest success from my time in the program came from the strong relationships I built and the vast knowledge I gained across different teams.”
Ben G., Class of 2017 and now Vice President of Lending Support, was among the youngest members of his group. “I came in each day with a positive attitude and was ready to work hard,” he says. “During my rotation we launched an initiative to recognize strong performance, which had a lasting impact across teams.”
