This annual event is full of bold announcements, industry-disrupting tech introductions, and endless examples of pushing the envelope to dramatically impact our partners’ success.
An Epic Event With Industry-Wide Impact
Having just wrapped its 4th year, UWM LIVE! is the largest mortgage event in the country, bringing thousands of mortgage professionals to the UWM campus to network, share best practices, and learn new things to improve their game. With over 5,000 partners in attendance this year, the energy and momentum of the wholesale channel and broker community was on full display.
Game-Changing Innovations
This year’s UWM LIVE! saw the introduction of a suite of connected, AI-driven tools built by our team of 1,800 IT team members to create an easier, more streamlined loan process.
Highlights of these newly launched solutions include Loan Estimate Optimizer (LEO) which gives loan originators a detailed analysis of any loan estimate document with tips on how to win the loan and the UWM tools they can use to help push it over the finish line.
Another first-of-its-kind innovation is Mia, a virtual loan officer assistant that can make and take calls from borrowers, ask and answer questions, schedule follow-up calls and meetings, and much more. The goal of both: to simplify our broker partners’ workflow, supercharge their client relationships and empower them to scale faster and smarter.

As important as cutting-edge technology is, another key to our partners’ success is having a growth mindset. That’s why each UWM LIVE! event also features notable speakers, ranging from mortgage experts who share their industry expertise to successful figures from other walks of life, who model how the right attitude and professional hunger can produce results. The industry professionals who attend — mortgage brokers, real estate agents, investors and others — consistently bring these lessons back to their own businesses to transform their mindset and drive their success even further.

UWM LIVE! is known for its dramatic industry innovations — and UWM’s position as an innovative company goes back much further. A large reason for this success is the strategic partnerships we’ve developed with other industry leaders. For example, Google was a key partner in the development of Mia, the new AI loan officer assistant. “Google actually said, ‘Slow down, it’s not possible at this scale, giving out 50,000 phone numbers and inbound lines and making all these calls concurrently,’” said Jason Bressler, Chief Technology Officer at UWM. “I said, ‘We’re going to figure it out together,’ and we did.”
